Letters testamentary are the documents that you receive from the surrogate when you get appointed as executor. When you go in, you’re going to file the application to be appointed as your -- as the executor for the estate, and eventually will -- when the will is processed you will receive a small form which says that you have been officially appointed. Those are letters testamentary.
